Education M.S., Animal Biology, University of California, Davis, California, (in progress) B.S., Animal Science, University of California, Davis, California, 2024 Research Management methods surrounding feeding may affect the welfare of dairy cattle. My M.S. research project will focus on changes to feeding practices through the use of slow-flow teat bottles for calves and their effects on the performance of natural and abnormal behaviors. Furthermore, my research project will assess the flow rate, cleaning effectiveness, and durability of commercially available slow-flow teats, along with the accessibility of calf behavior measurements for farmers. |
